The bedroom should be one of the most relaxing rooms in your house and this means that when decorating, you should layer in the furniture. The items you use for decoration should be limited and ought to be used to make the pieces of furniture more noticeable.

To add some color, to your dresser, place some fresh flowers regularly. You can also display your perfumes on the dresser but you have to make sure you limit the number. If you have some bedside tables, get some lamps and books to place on them. For your small items, find some decorative boxes to keep them in.

To draw attention to your bed, buy some wall lamps. Pillows and rich fabrics can also be added to make the bed a focal point. You can also use some sheer fabrics on the bed posts. If you have old bedroom furniture sets, add some new handles and knobs.
