Scandinavian countries like Norway and Finland have well-defined living rooms. They have pretty cold climates and thus go for good lighting and warmth in their living room.

To get the right Scandinavian look, get proper ventilation. Let the sun enter your living room big time. Your room should have light wood works here and there and these should bask in sun. You may complement them with works done in glass or ceramics.

They don’t go for flashy colors. Cream or brown is their color done in light paint. You may use attractive murals and themes. Metalwork strewn in patches and stylized windows complete the look. For lighting, don’t use bright lights, just enough to get enough.

You should however proper HVAC installed as you will have to encounter harsh climates. Your furniture should again be done in nudes. Live enough space for movement and don’t stuff your living room with unnecessary things.
